Meet the Doctor

Dr. Hal Shapiro

Dr. Shapiro graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1986. Prior to earning his Doctorate, he attended New York University undergraduate school and received a bachelors degree in Biology. Dr. Shapiro has been in private dental practice for 34 years. 

Dr. Jennifer Cacho

Dr. Cacho earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree through the Advanced Standing program at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2022. She completed her undergraduate studies in Cell and Molecular Biology at San Diego State University and received her initial dental degree from Centro Escolar University.

Passionate about giving back, Dr. Cacho volunteered as a dentist with the Philippine Dental Association, Flying Samaritans, and the Thousand Smiles Foundation, providing care to underserved communities from 2015 to 2019. She has practiced dentistry in San Diego and Bakersfield over the past four years.

Dr. Cacho and her husband, along with their two sons and her mother, chose to make Bakersfield their home. She is dedicated to creating a comfortable and compassionate dental experience where patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their smiles.
